As a certified Sound Bath Professional with the Sound Healing Association of Ireland, I offer gentle, guided sound bath meditations designed to help you slow down, rest deeply, and reconnect with yourself in a simple, natural way.
What is a sound bath?
A sound bath is a deeply relaxing, meditative experience where you lie down comfortably and are “bathed” in soothing sounds and vibrations. There’s nothing you need to do—no effort, no pressure to clear your mind. You just get cozy, close your eyes, and listen.
During a session, I use instruments such as crystal singing bowls, chimes, and other calming tones. These sounds are played in a slow, intuitive way, creating waves of vibration that you can hear and often gently feel in your body. Many people describe it as drifting between wakefulness and sleep—a peaceful, dream-like state where the body can truly unwind.
I’ll guide you in at the beginning with a few simple words to help you settle, and from there, the sound takes over.
What happens during a session?
You’ll lie down (usually on a yoga mat or blanket), fully clothed, in a warm and comfortable space. You’re welcome to bring anything that helps you relax—like a blanket, pillow, or eye mask.
As the sounds begin, your mind may wander, your body may feel heavy or light, and you might notice sensations like tingling or warmth. Some people see colours or images, while others simply feel deeply calm. Every experience is different, and all of it is welcome.
There’s no “right way” to experience a sound bath—just allowing yourself to rest is enough.
